Gorham Medallion pattern silver,"Medallion flatware" This antique sterling silver spoon was made by Gorham and dated 1864. The Medallion pattern was a favorite of Tiffany. It was first patented in 1862 by John Wendt on May 13th. The pattern depicts the likenesses of Roman and Greek deities. This antique Gorham spoon measures seven inches long and weighs 43 grams and is in good original condition. The back has a roaring lion engraved into it.
