This antique document is a summons for the defendant to appear before the county court for action on a note dated the 13th of July 1819. Apparently Noel Ives ran afoul of the law when he could not pay the owed sum of 30! This piece of antique "legal memorabilia" is in outstanding condition with no chips or tears. It has the fold lines all legal documents have. The frame is gold and the matte is a light burgundy that blends with any decor. It is 11 inches by 13 inches framed. We currently have three eighteenth and early nineteenth century legal documents framed and matted as a set.One of a Kind has an extensive collection of antique documents on political, legal, and other subjects from the seventeen, eighteen, and nineteen hundreds.
