The inserts are easily removed allowing the insertion of one's own favorite photographs inside. Littelfield Parsons and Co. were in Florence, Massachusetts, between 1858 and 1866. The Parsons & Co. was the sole manufacturers of Union Army cases with embracing riveted hinge, patented, October 14, 1856, & April 21, 1857.
