Early D. R. Dimes knuckle arm country Windsor twin bow back settee with the original distressed waxed varnish surface. This settee is one of the early works by D. R. Dimes. It is an exact copy of an 18th century American country Windsor settee, done so well it could fool an expert. Measures 52 inches wide across the arms, 38.5 inches high to the back, 18.5 inches high to the seat, 16 inches deep and 28 inches high to the arm. Excellent condition, strong and comfortable. The original D. R. Dimes impressed stamp is on the bottom of the seat.
I got a chair from my grandmother with carved dragons on it. After searching everywhere, I found the same chair on your website. I thought it looked Asian, but had no idea how valuable it is! I almost sold it to a friend for a hundred bucks. I am so glad I used your site to learn how much it's worth! Your price guide is such a great tool! Thanks Again!!
