Antique Korean bandaji chest or cabinet in 2 sections. It is beautifully crafted from finely grained elm, with hand-made brass hardware, and dates to about 1865. The chest would have been used in a 19th century Korean home as storage for blankets and bedding. It measures approximately 35.25 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 43 inches high. Excellent original condition with deep rich patina.
I got a chair from my grandmother with carved dragons on it. After searching everywhere, I found the same chair on your website. I thought it looked Asian, but had no idea how valuable it is! I almost sold it to a friend for a hundred bucks. I am so glad I used your site to learn how much it's worth! Your price guide is such a great tool! Thanks Again!!
