Japanese Meiji era mixed metal vase inlaid with a long tailed rooster perched on a flowering plum branch. Circa 1880, 7 inches tall. Bronze inlaid with pure silver and gold. Excellent condition. Signed by the maker and artist. Marking : GAISEI, believed maker of vase. Inscription signature Marking: JYUGYOKU KOKU (JYUGYOKU carved) artist made inlaid and carved. The Meiji period era spanned 1868-1912.
