RARE 18th century CT River Valley solid cherry Pembroke table. The best form of its kind in pristine original condition, circa 1790. The chamfered legs have a slight splay joined by cross stretchers; the drawer has large hand cut dovetails and the original brass pull; and the single board top and drop leaves are all perfectly straight with no warping, cracks or repairs. The table measures 20 inches wide, 32 inches long and 27 inches high with two 9.75 inch leaves. High early American country furniture at its best. I got a chair from my grandmother with carved dragons on it. After searching everywhere, I found the same chair on your website. I thought it looked Asian, but had no idea how valuable it is! I almost sold it to a friend for a hundred bucks. I am so glad I used your site to learn how much it's worth! Your price guide is such a great tool! Thanks Again!!
