Early country New England American painted blanket chest circa 1760, possibly made in Maine. Solid pine with beautifully grain-painted surface meant to imitate tiger maple and mahogany. The beaded single drawer, large hand cut dovetails, high feet and scalloped apron all point to exceptionally skillful country cabinetmaking. All original, excellent condition. Measures 42" W x 18" D x 35.5" H. T

I got a chair from my grandmother with carved dragons on it. After searching everywhere, I found the same chair on your website. I thought it looked Asian, but had no idea how valuable it is! I almost sold it to a friend for a hundred bucks. I am so glad I used your site to learn how much it's worth! Your price guide is such a great tool! Thanks Again!!
