Nathan Margolis Connecticut sunflower blanket chest circa 1920, unsigned. This CT chest was hand crafted from solid oak and is 49" wide at the top lid x 40.5" high x 20.5" deep. It is in excellent condition. This is with out a doubt the best of the best examples of Nathan Margolis colonial furniture. The Margolis furniture store was in Hartford CT. They reproduced the best examples of period 18th and early 19thc American furniture designs during the early 20th century.

I got a chair from my grandmother with carved dragons on it. After searching everywhere, I found the same chair on your website. I thought it looked Asian, but had no idea how valuable it is! I almost sold it to a friend for a hundred bucks. I am so glad I used your site to learn how much it's worth! Your price guide is such a great tool! Thanks Again!!
