American Chippendale style slant front cherry desk, 19th century. This desk was handcrafted from solid matching cherry boards. It has large hand cut dovetails on both top and drawer sides, full interior with secret compartments, and ogee bracket feet. It measures 35.75 inches wide, 10 inches deep, 41 inches high, 31 inches high to the writing surface; the lid is 13 inches deep; the writing surface is 20 x 34 inches with the lid down.
