These sand cast polished brass andirons are first quality reproductions of the 18th Century pair from Newport, Rhode Island. They were made by Virginia Metalcrafters for the Historic Newport and Williamsburg Reproduction Programs. These andirons are true to the original antique and are made to the highest standards. The measurements are 19 3/4" in height and 20 1/2" in depth overall. Virginia Metalcrafters was founded on October 6th, 1890, as the W.J. Loth Stove Company. Located in Waynesboro, Virginia, on the western slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, the company manufactured cast iron stoves and wood and coal heaters.
