The clipped mane horse head measures 8" H x 8.5" L x 3" W; the hitching post stands 27.25" above the ground; the overall height is 46.25"; the shaft is 2.75" in diameter. Fine original estate condition. This well cast horse hitching post was designed so it could be set into a stone wall or the ground. From a Stonington CT estate.
