Fine French silver strainer with gold vermeil bowl and mother of pearl handle, Paris c1820 - 1830. Paris guarantee stamp .950 along with the Paris fineness stamp and C P maker's mark. Measures 7 inches long to the end of the handle, 1 inch high, and 2.25 inches across the bowl. This is French silver making at its best. The mother of pearl handle is hand turned on a lathe, the bowl has its original gold vermeil and the legs are just darling.
