Royal Copenhagen, Royal Copenhagen plate, china, porcelain dish. This "Vintage Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Danish Trinket Tray of a Dog Sled Scene" measures 3 and one quarter inches across. The Royal Copenhagen Factory was founded around 1771 in Copenhagen, Denmark, by F H Müller. It is known for its high quality porcelain and for the three wavy lines which have formed part of the companys many marks since 1775. In the 1880s when production at the Royal Copenhagen factory was dropping to a dangerously low level they were taken over by Aluminia (founded 1863), successful makers of earthenware, and since that time the two ranges, earthenware and porcelain, have been running in tandem.

I got a chair from my grandmother with carved dragons on it. After searching everywhere, I found the same chair on your website. I thought it looked Asian, but had no idea how valuable it is! I almost sold it to a friend for a hundred bucks. I am so glad I used your site to learn how much it's worth! Your price guide is such a great tool! Thanks Again!!
