A true matching pair of 18thc American Chippendale dining chairs. Mahogany, made in Massachusetts circa 1770. Upholstered removable slip seat and gothic splat. Original corner blocks held with their original rose head hand made nails. Just in from a Madison, CT, estate. Each chair measures 37 inches high to the back, 17.5 inches high to the seat, 22 inches wide at the front and 20.5 inches wide across the top.
