Vintage Felipe Martinez Taxco hand made sterling silver bracelet, Taxco, Mexico, c1950. Jewelry by Martinez is prized by collectors. His work is among the finest jewelry ever designed and made in Taxco, during its most important period of artisanal silver making. Signed with the "F. Martinez 925" Taxco mark, which pre-dates the studio mark "Plata Y Piedra" which he began using in 1950. The individual sections are technically perfect and the design allows easy movement, a testament to Martinez's artistry. Felipe Martinez designs were inspired by pre-Columbian pieces but are modern and relevant today.
