Pair Chinese pewter temple vases circa 1780, mounted as lamps. These rare vases were originally part of a garniture set. Tops and bases are each 5.5" square; height to finials is 33" and height to vase tops is 18.75". Shaped wood bases, modern wiring, heavy weight. Exquisite custom made square shades with paneled corners. Original 1979 receipt from Jane Wilson Antiques, Old Saybrook, CT.
