This chest of drawers was made circa 1810 in southern Germany. The primary wood is cherry, the secondary wood is pine, and there are several varieties of wood inlays. Some of the banded veneers around the front drawer edges have replacements. There appears to be a large area of replaced veneers along the rear edge, shown in the fifth image. It could be the angle of the light. The hardware appears to be original
