Chinese bronze enamel Vase c1880. Chinese bronze, decorated with cloisonne enamel Mongol warriors on an impressed and incised background. It is a decorative piece made in the early 20th century, circa 1910 or 1920. Its form is modeled on an archaic Chu Dynasty (1125-250 BC) form called a tsun, or wine vessel. This type of large-cell cloisonne enamel decoration is relatively modern. The Ming-inspired elephant handles on this vase are an appealing feature, as is the unusually tall 25-inch size.
