Antique American coin silver cup from Georgia made by Horace Clark and John Stedman Clark of Augusta, Georgia, between 1850 and 1860. They were preceeded in this line of Clark silversmiths by Clark, Rackett & Co. (1840-52), and by Francis & Horace Clark (1830-42). Southern silver made prior to the Civil War is rare because most of it was either melted down or stolen. Measures five inches high.
