Taxco,Spratling Silver Jewelry, This rare William Spratling Cuff Bracelet was made between 1935 and 1940. It is a fine example of one of the best pieces William Spratling made. This hand made sterling silver cuff bracelet measures 6 inches on the inside with a 1 and one half inch opening. Exterior is 2 inches wide by 2 and 7/8 inches long. Original William Spratling hallmark stamp can be seen on the inside. This piece is listed in "Mexican Silver" by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole A. Berk 20th Century Handwrought Jewelry and Metal work. It is also pictured in a full page photograph in Spratling Silver by Sandraline Cederwall and Hal Riney with Barnaby Conrad Chronicl Books c1990 page 98
