Monogrammed coin silver mug marked for William Moulton II (1772 to 1861) of Newburyport, MA; this mark may have also been used by William Moulton I (1720 to 1793). Please refer to "American Silversmiths and Their Marks" by S. G. C. Ensko. Measures 3.5 inches in diameter at the rim, 3.75 high to the rim, and 4.25 inches high to the handle. It weighs 4.77 ounces troy. Very good estate condition with no damage, but would benefit from a professional buffing.
